2018 highlights

The day after I finished the last of my college finals I headed to my computer to do a ton of research on how to start your own website. I knew for a long time that Three Hungry Bellies was something that I wanted to start. At the time Three Hungry Bellies didn't exist and hadn't even been named yet but honestly none of that mattered. I just knew that food was going to be a big part of my life and I was going to share it with the world one way or another. I got my domain, made my Instagram, and created my website. I slowly started posting content but I realized that I didn't love the look of my site, the quality of my content, and I wasn't sure of what I was doing anymore. I was confused and I lost my drive. I decided to take some time to learn and reevaluate what kind of content I wanted to put out and come back once I was ready.

Fast forward to September 2018. I posted my first post in a couple of months. My creamy wild mushroom linguine that I still eat at least every other month.

And since that delicious post...

3 of my pins were saved & I made my first 5 Pinterest followers:

My first pin was my Vegan Raspbanana Bread:

My second one was my chewy everything bagels:

5 of my food photos have been accepted by food gawker:

I have redone my website and put in a new column called "Life Updates" which I am particularly excited about because it allows me to share more of my own life along with my progress with Three Hungry Bellies with you guys.

Doing this post made me realized that even thought I started putting out content in October I really did accomplish a lot in those three months. I still haven't figure everything out but at least I'm not as lost as I used to be and I'm ready to put out some great content in 2019! :)

Still Hungry,

Alex

My favorite appliances that help me create all my recipes!
Cusinart: It was a birthday present I got that I use all the time to make doughs, smoothies, sauces, & during the holiday it has a permenant place on my counter

Cast Iron: Comes pre seasoned, ready to use after a quick wash and makes some great eggs in the morning! Along with searing meats, toasting bread, & you can't forget corn bread!

Kitchen Aid: Literally a bakers best friend. It comes with a glass bowl so taking photos is a blast. Its really an investment but one worth making!
