Conversion Chart

Updated: Jul 17, 2020

As a kid I always used the American/Imperial measuring system aka cups when it came to baking. But as I got older and got more into baking, I also got more into the metric system aka grams and ounces. It was more precise, consistent, and made for easy clean up. All you need is a scale and you are good to go.

However, in my recipes I tend to jump back and forth between cups, grams, and ounces. As a reader/fellow cook, I know that can be annoying. I just find that its easier to use cups in some recipes rather than to use grams so I decided to create this list of some of my more used ingredients and convert them into both ounces and grams (if applicable). So if you have a scale or not, hopeful this chart helps you out and you are still able to try out any recipes you find here on threehungrybellies. I'll most likely add on to this list as I create more recipes.
