All Purpose Asian Stir Fry Sauce

This is the perfect all purpose asian sauce you could ever need. It’s made for a dry dish like chicken lo mein or stir fried veggies where there is little to no sauce but it tastes perfectly seasoned. It's umami, salty with a touch of sweetness, and so easy to make. All you need are 6 ingredients and a bowl/jar to store it in. The most efficient way of making this sauce is to make one big jar of it so you’ll always have it on hand. Anytime you’re craving some take out your jar of APA sauce and you’re good to go.

Here are some of the recipes that go great with this sauce:

Crispy Beef Vermicelli Noodles:

Spicy Beef Noodles

These are the brand that I like:

Shirakiku Orginal Mirin

Three Crabs Brand Fish Sauce ( I also like red boat but I can never find it when I need it)

Golden Label Superior Light Soy Sauce

New Orient International Inc. Shaoxing Cooking Wine

Otafuku Pure Rice Vinegar

Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce (Not Pictured)

You also might be wondering if I mean tablespoon or teaspoon in the ingredients. Well, I mean both and neither at the same time. Take a bowl, a teaspoon/tablespoon, cup, or jar and that will be your “spoonful”.  Just be sure to use the same item for everything. So for example if you use a jar, fill it all the way to the top with fish sauce and that will be “1 spoonful of fish sauce”. For the soy sauce, fill your jar up twice and that will be “2 spoonfuls of light soy sauce”. It’s as easy as pie!
